I can hold them now!!!

Tuesday the doctor performed a C section on Nadine and helped bring our two beautiful baby girls into the world. It was a incredible moment to see them come into my life and heart. I love them so much, and of course they are the cuties babies you will ever see. Just look at them.

Fayth Elizabeth on the top was born first at 3:17 pacific time on November 7, 2006. She weighed 5 lbs 12 oz and was 18 inches long. Daisy Christine on the bottom was born second at 3:18 pacific time on November 7, 2006. She weighed 5 lbs 6 oz and was as tall as her sister, 18 inches.
The names are very significant to us. Fayth is named after the fact that it took faith to bring her into our life. As such she is named in honor of the prayers offered in faith by all of you in our favor. Daisy is named after my father-in-law's mother. My father-in-law die about 2 years ago and is sorely missed by all who knew him. He loved all his children and grandchildren. Our girls will know their Papa's love through us and Daisy will remind us that we are still connected to him. Elizabeth is both Nadine's mother's and antie's (she raise Nadine's father) middle name. Daisy is also named after Christine Gyllenskog. Her name of course references Christ. It is faith in Christ that brought my girls (including Nadine) into my life.
The girls and parents are adjusting to their new lives and schedules. I am going to go hold them now
Ooooh babies

We’re in the hospital. Today (November 7, 2006), at 35 weeks 4 days, the doctor is ready to c-section Nadine. My first reaction – What? Now? Are we ready? The girls look good and healthy except for the fact that they are both breach. We wanted to try for vaginal delivery but were open to what might be necessary. So the babies are coming.
I must admit that am a little afraid that we are not quite ready, but I have a suspicion that no matter when they were to come I would have that fear. I am excited for them to come even they will not be born on my birthday. I guess that I get my present early just like Nadine did. I will finally be able to hold them. Nadine has been so selfish and has not let me hold them not even once during the whole pregnancy.
Deal or 1 vs. 100 – TV star?

I went to an open casting call for the game shows Deal or No Deal and 1 vs. 100 on Saturday with my friend Joe. After standing in line for 3+ hours, Joe actually got a call back for 1 vs. 100 this Wednesday and they may call me to be part of the “mob” but probably not. It was fun experience. Joe was really glad that I invited him to go and I hope he gets on. I think it might be really fun if I am part of the mob when Joe is a contestant. Nadine really wanted to go, but there was to way she could stand for hours in line. I am trying to encourage her to apply with a video application for Deal or No Deal. I’ll keep you posted on my up coming TV debut.
